‘The biggest, the best day of your life’ and I want to be there to capture all of it. I’ve shot over 300 weddings and each and everyone has its own unique style and personality. My coverage usually begins a couple of hours before the wedding to allow me time to get some gorgeous images of the dress, the flowers and all the other little details. Remember you’ve spent all this money making sure everything looks incredible and when the dust has settled from the day it’s these storyboard images that set the scene for the day. There’s also plenty of time to get some shots of the bride and all her girls getting ready. Reveals with parents and bridesmaids. If the groom and the boys are within a few miles I can easily squeeze half an hour with them into the morning, but if not or you want longer coverage of the boys it can be worth considering a second shooter which I can provide. I usually stay with the bride until she is ready and aim to be at the ceremony half an hour before the service.
Once your service has finished you’ll see me darting behind bushes and getting as many candids as I can. At some point during your drinks reception we can complete any formal group shots you want. Although I’d recommend keeping this to around 8, I am happy to take as many as you like. At some point either during this drinks reception or after your wedding breakfast we’ll go away and get some couples pictures. This can be anywhere between 10 minutes and 30 minutes depending on the couple and what they want.
I’ll then be with you right through the speeches till usually the evening food arrives. Every wedding booking I take includes a consultation where we will talk over all of this in much more detail. Make sure we are on the same page and ensure your wedding runs seamlessly!!
