Over the years I’ve loved working at Eden Barn, seeing it improve year on year and waiting expectantly to see what’s new this year. Last year it was a new wild meadow absolutely perfect for bridal photos, prior to that it was the make up room and before that it was the bar area, I wonder what it’ll be this year . But for now lets take a look back at one of my most enjoyable weddings of 2023 working alongside top guy and videographer @mattjonesweddingfilm and @jacobsmith.uk as my second shooter.
I’d met Daniel and Sinead a few months prior to the wedding for a beautiful engagement shoot on the rugged Silverdale coastline and I knew from then this was going to be a truly beautiful wedding. Sinead works in the fashion industry and it therefore goes without saying that everything was going to be perfect…. and perfect it was, styled and dressed impeccably these two were a pair of superstars. A stunning ceremony in front of the wall of fairy lights was only matched by the exquisite styling of the wedding breakfast room which was soon to be filled with laughter from Daniels rather hilarious best man. A few backs were put out of joint, in the over exuberant game of limbo that followed the wedding breakfast and many a jenga tower collapsed as garden games were enjoyed and drinks consumed.
Finally we got to take a short walk through the wild meadow and I’ve got to say it didn’t disappoint. It made for a dreamy backdrop to the bridal portraits. Before we knew it, the evening do and first dance were upon us. Some rather interesting shapes followed and after an epic first set it was time us to leave the party in full swing.
