I use to go to school with Jen and when she asked me to photograph her wedding I couldn’t have been happier to have been asked. For not only had Jen studied photography at university but she’s a craicing lass and it turned out Kyri’s more than a match for her. Knowing Jen I knew, it wasn’t going to be a conventional wedding and I knew it would be one big party. And Party it was.
Jens favourite combination of a brew and fizz set the tone for an epic wedding. To enjoy the day and not feel restricted by photos in anyway they chose to do the majority of their group photos and couples pictures before the wedding. I love it when couples do this, not only do you get an intimate first look but the make up is fresh, your not in a rush to get back to your friends and I get more time to get candid images of everyone enjoying themselves.
Having already seen Jen moments earlier it still didn’t stop Kyri shedding a tear as she walked down the aisle in the most gorgeous of dresses. This was perhaps the only time Jen walked, the rest of the day she was dancing with Kyri by her side. The tone for the day had been set and the result was the most epic of celebrations…. An absolute favourite of mine and one I won’t be forgetting anytime soon.
